PulseTech Electronics, a leading provider of embedded electronics solutions, is seeking a dedicated Electronics Technician to join our Austin, TX team. This on-site role focuses on assembly, testing, calibration, and repair of electronic assemblies and PCBs for medical devices and industrial equipment.

Responsibility
- Assemble, solder, and wire electronic assemblies and PCBs to engineering drawings and IPC standards.
- Conduct functional, in-circuit, and visual inspections using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and ATE equipment.
- Calibrate and test subsystems and finished products; document results and deviations.
- Assemble prototypes and production fixtures; support troubleshooting during builds.
- Assist with preventive maintenance of test equipment and tooling; maintain clean, organized work area.
- Collaborate with engineering and QA to implement process improvements and cost-reduction ideas.
- Follow safety, quality, and regulatory requirements (ISO 9001, FCC/CE where applicable).
Qualification
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certificate in electronics preferred.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with electronics assembly, soldering (lead-free), and wiring harnesses.
- Proficiency with test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, spectrum analyzers).
- Strong reading of schematics and wiring diagrams; IPC 610/620 knowledge a plus.
- Solid troubleshooting skills; ability to document issues and follow corrective actions.
- Attention to detail and quality-focused mindset; good manual dexterity.
- Ability to work on-site in Austin, TX; commitment to safety and teamwork.
