NovaTech Solutions is a leading provider of precision electronics and prototyping services. We are seeking an Electronics Technician to join our production and R&D teams in Austin, Texas. You will work hands on with PCB assemblies, test fixtures, calibration equipment, and diagnostic tools to ensure products meet exacting performance standards. This role offers a clear path to advanced testing, troubleshooting, and process improvement within a fast growing, quality driven environment.
As a member of our team you will contribute to new product introductions, drive quality in manufacturing, and help maintain documentation that supports ISO compliance and traceability.
Responsibility
- Assemble, test, calibrate electronic assemblies and sub systems to meet exacting specifications.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot component level issues across PCBs and assemblies using meters, oscilloscopes, and diagnostic software.
- Interpret schematics wiring diagrams and IPC based assembly instructions to ensure correct wiring and compliance.
- Perform first pass and in process testing, calibration, and burn in of units; document results.
- Support failure analysis debugging and rework including soldering desoldering and conformance testing.
- Maintain accurate production and test documentation BOMs change notices.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams on New Product Introductions and process improvements.
Qualification
- Associate degree or technical diploma in electronics technology or related field.
- 2+ years hands on electronics testing troubleshooting and repair experience in a manufacturing or lab environment.
- Strong proficiency with multimeters oscilloscopes spectrum analyzers benchtop power supplies and test fixtures.
- Soldering competence with IPC A 610 or IPC J STD 001 able to perform rework as needed.
- Experience reading schematics PCB layouts and wiring diagrams; familiarity with CAD tools is a plus.
- Knowledge of safety and quality standards including ISO 9001 IPC standards and documentation practices.
- Excellent problem solving communication and organizational skills; ability to work cross functional.
- Authorized to work in the United States and able to pass background and drug screening as required.
