Responsibility
- Assemble, wire, and solder PCB assemblies and electro-mechanical components following documented procedures.
- Perform functional testing, calibration, and troubleshooting of boards using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and dedicated test rigs.
- Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and bill of materials to support assembly and repair work.
- Document test results, nonconformities, and corrective actions; assist in root-cause analysis as needed.
- Inspect finished assemblies for quality, adherence to IPC standards, and compliance with safety protocols.
- Set up and operate testing equipment, fixtures, and calibration jigs; maintain calibration records.
- Collaborate with engineers and production teams to resolve issues and improve processes; participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualification
- High school diploma or GED required; technical diploma or certificate in electronics preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience as an electronics technician or in electronics assembly/test environment.
- Proficiency with multimeters, oscilloscopes, soldering irons, and basic hand tools.
- Experience reading schematics (PCB layout, wiring diagrams) and using bill of materials.
- Knowledge of ESD practices and IPC soldering standards; soldering certification is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and good manual dexterity.
- Effective communication and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment; willingness to cross-train.
