Responsibility
- Plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned lessons for grades 1–5 that meet diverse learner needs.
- Assess student progress and provide timely feedback to support growth.
- Differentiate instruction to ensure access and challenge for all learners.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues, specialists, and families to support individualized learning plans.
- Integrate literacy and numeracy across subjects and use appropriate educational technology.
- Implement classroom routines, management strategies, and behavior supports respectfully.
- Contribute to school-wide initiatives and participate in ongoing professional development.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field; teaching credential or license for the state of Washington.
- Minimum of 2 years of elementary teaching experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of literacy and math instruction appropriate for elementary grades.
- Excellent classroom management and student engagement skills.
- Ability to differentiate instruction and assess student progress effectively.
- Strong communication and collaboration with families and colleagues.
- Proficiency with educational technology and data-informed instruction.
