Job description

NovaLearning Solutions is seeking an experienced Employee Training Lead to design, deliver, and optimize training programs that empower teams to perform at their best. This role blends instructional design, stakeholder collaboration, and hands-on facilitation to drive measurable outcomes across departments.

In this role you will own end-to-end training initiatives — from new-hire onboarding to leadership development — while partnering with HR, IT, and business leaders to align programs with strategic goals. Responsibility

  • Design, develop, and continuously improve instructor-led, virtual, and eLearning training across multiple teams.
  • Assess training needs through surveys, interviews, performance data, and stakeholder input; translate findings into actionable programs.
  • Lead onboarding programs for new hires and cross-functional teams to accelerate time-to-competence.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to create engaging materials, job aids, and micro-learning modules.
  • Manage and optimize the learning management system (LMS), including tracking, reporting, and analytics to demonstrate impact.
  • Facilitate live sessions, coaching, and workshops with a practical, results-oriented approach.
  • Measure training effectiveness using KPIs, post-training assessments, and business outcomes; iterate to improve results.
  • Partner with leadership to forecast learning needs, build scalable programs, and support succession planning.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in corporate training, L&D, or organizational development.
  • Strong instructional design skills with ADDIE or SAM methodologies; proficiency with eLearning tools (Articulate 360, Captivate) is a plus.
  • Experience with LMS platforms (e.g., Cornerstone, Moodle) and learning analytics to measure program effectiveness.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills; proven ability to influence at all levels.
  • Project management experience with a track record of delivering multiple initiatives on time and within scope.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Change management, coaching, or leadership development experience is a plus.
