NorthStar Innovations, a leading tech solutions company, is seeking a Senior Employee Training Specialist to elevate our learning ecosystem in Seattle. This role shapes and delivers impactful training experiences that accelerate performance across product, engineering, and customer success teams.
As part of the Learning & Development team, you will partner with HR, product, and operations to design scalable programs, measure impact, and foster a culture of continuous development.
Responsibility
- Design, develop, and deliver onboarding and ongoing training programs for 100+ employees across functions.
- Partner with HR and business leaders to identify skill gaps and learning objectives.
- Create instructional materials including e-learning modules, facilitator guides, job aids, and quick reference cards.
- Manage and optimize the learning management system (LMS), track adoption, and report on outcomes.
- Lead training sessions, workshops, and train-the-trainer programs.
- Evaluate program effectiveness through metrics, surveys, and ROI analysis, then iterate accordingly.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to align trainings with roadmap and customer needs.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resources, Instructional Design, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in employee training, learning and development, or instructional design.
- Proficiency with LMS platforms (Workday, Cornerstone, Moodle, or similar) and e-learning authoring tools (Articulate Storyline, Captivate).
- Strong facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to engage audiences both in person and virtually.
- Experience with ADDIE or SAM instructional design methodologies and evaluation of learning outcomes.
- Excellent communication, project management, and stakeholder management skills.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to measure impact and demonstrate ROI.
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
