NovaTalent Partners is seeking a Freelance Technical Recruiter to source, screen, and place freelance engineers and IT professionals for a diverse portfolio of client projects. This remote, contract-based role offers flexible hours, competitive compensation, and the opportunity to impact multiple enterprises across tech stacks.
Youâll partner with project leads and clients to understand role requirements, define success criteria, and deliver top-tier candidates quickly. You will own end-to-end freelance recruiting cyclesâfrom candidate discovery to offer and onboardingâwhile maintaining a high standard of candidate experience.
Responsibility
- Build and manage a high-quality pipeline of freelance tech talent across multiple regions
- Screen candidates, verify technical skills, review portfolios, and conduct initial interviews
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to define role requirements and timelines
- Post jobs on freelance marketplaces and professional networks; source through LinkedIn, GitHub, Upwork, and more
- Negotiate terms, compensation, and contracts; facilitate smooth onboarding for contractors
- Maintain accurate ATS records, track pipeline metrics, and provide weekly status updates
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and client policies while championing inclusive hiring
Qualification
- 3+ years of experience in freelance or contract recruiting, preferably in tech
- Proven ability to source passive candidates via LinkedIn, GitHub, Upwork, and other channels
- Experience with ATS and freelance marketplace tools; familiarity with contractor agreements
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Self-starter with excellent time management and the ability to work remotely
- Knowledge of common tech stacks (software, data, cloud) is a plus
