Job description

NovaTech Solutions is seeking an experienced Employee Training Manager to lead enterprise-wide learning initiatives. This role designs, develops, and deploys modern training programs that accelerate performance, improve onboarding, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Based in Austin, TX, this full-time position blends instructional design excellence with measurable business outcomes.

As a trusted L&D partner, you will collaborate with subject matter experts, business leaders, and HR to translate strategic priorities into scalable learning solutions across in-person and digital channels.

Responsibility

  • Lead the design, development, and governance of comprehensive training programs ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Conduct needs analyses and performance gap assessments to identify learning requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable curricula, assessments, and job aids.
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of e-learning content, instructor-led materials, and blended learning experiences.
  • Manage the Learning Management System (LMS) and analytics to measure effectiveness and optimize programs.
  • Partner with HR and leadership to onboard, upskill, and promote a culture of continuous learning.
  • Lead a team of internal trainers and external vendors, ensuring high-quality delivery and consistency.
  • Stay current with L&D trends, tools, and methodologies to drive innovation and ROI.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Training & Development, Instructional Design, or a related field; Master’s preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate training, learning and development, or instructional design.
  • Strong expertise in ADDIE/AGILE instructional design methodologies and e-learning authoring tools (Articulate 360, Captivate, or similar).
  • Experience administering an LMS (e.g., Workday, Cornerstone) and analyzing training data to drive decisions.
  • Excellent facilitation, presentation, and written communication skills with the ability to tailor messages to diverse audiences.
  • Project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
  • Proven collaboration and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Willingness to travel up to 15% for training delivery and onboarding as needed.
