Job description
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Employee Training Specialist to join LuminaTech Solutions in Austin, Texas. This role drives the design, delivery, and evaluation of training programs that accelerate employee performance and support a high-growth tech environment.
In this role, you will partner with HR, department heads, and subject-matter experts to identify learning needs, develop engaging curriculum, and measure impact through analytics.
Responsibility
- Design and develop engaging training programs, curricula, and materials for new hires and ongoing professional development.
- Lead live virtual and in-person training sessions; facilitate sessions that accommodate diverse learning styles.
- Conduct needs assessments and performance analyses to identify skill gaps and prioritize initiatives.
- Collaborate with SMEs and department leaders to map learning objectives to business goals.
- Coordinate LMS setup, course tagging, enrollment, and tracking; ensure data accuracy and reporting.
- Evaluate training effectiveness using metrics, surveys, and ROI analyses; iterate programs accordingly.
- Drive onboarding programs to accelerate time-to-productivity for new hires.
- Maintain and update training content to align with products, processes, and compliance requirements.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Education, Business, or a related field; mastery of instructional design is a plus.
- 3+ years of experience in corporate training, instructional design, or learning and development.
- Strong facilitation and presentation skills with ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Proficiency with an LMS (e.g., Cornerstone, Workday, Moodle) and authoring tools (Storyline, Articulate 360).
- Experience with needs analysis, learning objectives, and measurement of training impact.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; collaborative and capable of partnering with cross-functional teams.
- Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and timelines.
- Knowledge of compliance training and safety requirements is a plus.
