We are seeking a motivated Employee Training Specialist to join our Learning & Development team in Austin, TX. You will design, develop, and deliver scalable training programs that elevate performance, accelerate onboarding, and support career growth across the organization. This role blends instructional design expertise with hands-on facilitation and data-driven optimization to ensure measurable business impact.
As a trusted partner to HR and operations, you will analyze learning needs, build modern curricula, and leverage our learning management system to track progress and outcomes. Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable training programs and curricula across functions.
- Lead in-person and virtual training sessions, workshops, and onboarding experiences.
- Partner with subject-matter experts to translate business needs into effective learning solutions.
- Analyze learning needs, define success metrics, and monitor program results to drive continuous improvement.
- Curate and create e-learning content using industry-standard tools (e.g., Articulate 360, Captivate).
- Administer and optimize the learning management system (LMS), including user roles, catalogs, and reporting.
- Collaborate with HR and leadership to align programs with performance goals and succession planning.
- Stay current on adult learning theory and training trends to deliver impactful, inclusive learning.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resources, Business, or a related field; advanced certifications in training and development are a plus.
- 3+ years of experience in instructional design, corporate training, or related roles.
- Proven ability to design engaging curricula for adult learners and diverse audiences.
- Proficiency with LMS administration and e-learning authoring tools (Articulate 360, Captivate, Rise).
- Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze learning metrics and impact.
- Experience with needs analysis, competency mapping, and performance consulting.
- Demonstrated commitment to inclusion and accessibility in training content.
