Nexus Learning Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Employee Training Specialist to design, deliver, and optimize scalable training programs that elevate performance across the organization. You will partner with HR, Learning & Development, and business leaders to identify skills gaps, define measurable outcomes, and drive adoption of best practices.
In this role, you will blend instructional design expertise with hands-on facilitation to create engaging learning experiences across multiple formats—live workshops, virtual sessions, microlearning modules, and LMS-based courses. You will also measure impact with analytics, iterate programs based on feedback, and champion a culture of continuous learning.
Responsibility
- Lead the end-to-end design and delivery of employee training programs aligned with business goals and performance metrics.
- Perform needs analysis, audience segmentation, and learning objectives specification in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop instructional materials, e-learning modules (Storyline/Captivate), facilitator guides, and job aids.
- Administer and optimize LMS content, course catalogs, enrollment processes, and assessments.
- Facilitate live trainings and webinars, adapting delivery to diverse audiences and time zones.
- Measure training effectiveness using KPIs (completion, knowledge retention, application on the job) and generate actionable insights.
- Partner with HR and business leaders to create a sustainable learning calendar, learning paths, and coaching programs.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Human Resources, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate training, instructional design, or learning & development.
- Proven expertise with e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) and LMS platforms (e.g., Cornerstone, Moodle).
- Strong facilitation, presentation, and coaching skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Solid project management and stakeholder management capabilities; ability to manage multiple programs concurrently.
- Data-driven mindset with experience analyzing learning metrics and optimizing programs based on results.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; collaborative, proactive, and solutions-oriented.
