We are seeking an experienced Employee Training Specialist to lead the end to end creation and delivery of training that accelerates onboarding, skills mastery, and business outcomes.
Based in Austin, Texas, with hybrid remote options for qualified candidates, this role blends instructional design, delivery and analytics to build scalable programs for a diverse workforce.
As a strategic partner to HR and business leaders, you will transform learning needs into practical, engaging programs that improve performance and employee engagement.
Responsibility
- Conduct needs assessments with stakeholders to identify skill gaps and learning objectives.
- Design and develop engaging training materials including instructor led, virtual, and self paced formats.
- Deliver compelling sessions in person or online and adapt to diverse audiences.
- Manage and curate content in the learning management system and track completion and certifications.
- Evaluate training effectiveness using metrics and create actionable improvement plans.
- Collaborate with HR and business leaders to build onboarding and role based curricula.
- Establish standards for learning delivery and maintain consistent quality across programs.
- Facilitate train the trainer programs and build internal training champions.
Qualification
- Bachelor degree in Learning and Development, Education, Human Resources or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in instructional design and training delivery with a track record of measurable impact.
- Strong experience with LMS platforms and e learning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline or Captivate.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and exceptional facilitation skills.
- Proven ability to diagnose learning needs, design effective curricula and measure outcomes.
- Project management skills and the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Knowledge of compliance training and regulatory requirements a plus.
