Responsibility
- Lead civil engineering design development for assigned infrastructure projects, ensuring safety and compliance with local codes and best practices.
- Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and cost estimates; coordinate with vendors and contractors.
- Oversee construction activities on site, perform regular inspections, and enforce QA/QC procedures to meet quality standards.
- Monitor project schedules and budgets, track milestones, and report progress to senior engineers and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with architects, surveyors, and public agencies to secure permits and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Review and approve engineering change orders, resolve design issues, and maintain accurate project documentation.
- Mentor junior engineers and interns, fostering professional growth and knowledge transfer.
Qualification
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
- Licensed Civil Engineer (PRC) preferred; or on track to licensure within the first year.
- 2-5 years of experience in civil or structural engineering and construction oversight.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other drafting/design software; strong MS Office skills.
- Knowledge of local building codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to read blueprints and prepare technical reports.
- Willingness to travel to project sites and work in field conditions as required.
