What you’ll do at Micron includes driving process improvements, supporting proactive maintenance, leading small automation projects, and documenting validation and test procedures to ensure repeatable results. Responsibility
- Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot probe test flows and process recipes to maximize yield and throughput.
- Characterize probe-related failures, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with Equipment and Process teams to maintain calibration, maintenance, and uptime of probe stations and related equipment.
- Implement automation and digital tools to reduce manual intervention and improve data collection and reporting.
- Analyze test data (SPC, DOE, trend analysis) to identify opportunities for performance improvements.
- Support New Product Introductions (NPI) and Process Validation with rigorous documentation and validation plans.
- Coordinate with Manufacturing and Quality teams to ensure process stability and product quality on the production floor.
- Mentor junior engineers and technicians, sharing best practices in probe testing, data analysis, and problem solving.
Qualification
- Bachelors degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical Engineering or related field; or equivalent practical experience in semiconductor manufacturing.
- Hands-on experience with semiconductor probe testing, probe stations, probe cards, and measurement instrumentation.
- Solid understanding of statistical process control (SPC) and data-driven problem solving.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Python, MATLAB) and scripting to automate tasks and generate insights.
- Familiarity with fault isolation, failure analysis, and root-cause investigation methodologies.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and cross-functional teamwork skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented manufacturing environment.
- Willingness to adapt to shift schedules and on-call support as required.
