Job description

Join Micron Semiconductors as a Process Integration Engineer and play a pivotal role in shaping next-generation semiconductor manufacturing. You will collaborate across product and process teams to optimize integration flows, improve wafer yields, and accelerate time-to-volume for cutting-edge devices across memory and logic applications.

In this role, you will own rigorous process development cycles, including defining process windows, conducting design of experiments (DOE), and analyzing wafer data to drive robust, scalable solutions. You will partner with Process Engineering, Equipment, Yield, and Manufacturing teams to resolve yield-limiting issues, implement process controls, and ensure production readiness for new nodes and device generations.

We value continuous improvement, data-driven decision making, and strong communication as you translate complex technical results into actionable plans. You will lead cross-functional problem-solving sessions, develop robust process instructions, and contribute to technology roadmaps that define the next generation of semiconductor devices.

Micron Semiconductors offers a dynamic, global manufacturing environment in Singapore where you will mentor junior engineers, collaborate with supplier and customer teams, and contribute to safety and quality initiatives that safeguard performance and reliability of our products. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about semiconductor process innovation, this is the place to build a career.

Responsibility

  • Lead process integration activities for advanced semiconductor nodes to improve yield, reliability, and throughput.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Process Engineering, Equipment, Reliability, and Yield to implement robust integration flows.
  • Define process windows, run DOE studies, analyze data, and implement data-driven improvements.
  • Develop and qualify new process steps (e.g., CMP, CVD/ALD, etch, metrology) and translate into production-ready recipes.
  • Monitor manufacturing performance, identify root causes, and drive corrective actions with risk assessments and timelines.
  • Document specifications, create process instructions, and support technology transfers to production.
  • Provide technical mentorship and training to junior engineers and technicians.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in semiconductor process integration or related discipline.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, metrology, and process control (DOE/ SPC).
  • Experience with CMP, CVD/ALD, lithography, etch, and related process steps is a plus.
  • Data-driven problem-solving skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (Python, R, Minitab, JMP) and statistical methods.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities; ability to work in Singapore and multi-national teams.
  • Safety-conscious mindset and familiarity with quality systems (ISO/TS, IATF, or similar) preferred.
  • Willingness to learn, adapt, and travel as needed.
