Responsibility
- Plan and deliver engaging English-language lessons aligned with early childhood education standards.
- Implement age-appropriate curricula to support literacy, language acquisition, and cognitive development.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that supports all learners.
- Assess and document children’s progress, and provide constructive feedback to families.
- Maintain effective classroom routines, behavior management, and classroom safety practices.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and center staff to plan activities and share best practices.
- Engage families through regular updates, parent-teacher meetings, and home learning ideas.
- Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to continuous program improvement.
Qualification
- L2 Certification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent recognized qualification.
- Strong command of the English language and excellent communication skills.
- Prior preschool or childcare experience preferred.
- Passion for early childhood development and creating supportive learning environments.
- Ability to work across multiple centers / islandwide with a flexible mindset.
- Team-oriented, patient, and able to build positive relationships with children and families.
- Knowledge of child safety, safeguarding policies, and classroom health protocols.
