English Cafe is seeking an English Language Operations Tutor to join our Surakarta branch. In this full-time role, you will deliver high-quality English language instruction to members, provide thoughtful consultations to guide their learning, and perform essential branch administration. You will be part of a friendly team that values student progress, clear communication, and a positive learning environment.
Your responsibilities include designing and delivering engaging lessons aligned with our curriculum and best practices, assessing learner needs, tracking progress, and adapting materials for different levels. You will conduct initial assessments, set achievable learning goals, and provide ongoing feedback to members about their development. You will lead one-on-one and small group sessions to help members improve speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. In addition, you will provide proactive member consultations to recommend personalized study plans, resources, and scheduling that fit each member's goals. You will also support branch operations such as attendance, enrollment records, and coordination with instructors and coordinators to ensure a smooth classroom experience.
To succeed in this role you should be fluent in English, comfortable teaching diverse adult learners, and capable of managing multiple tasks with professionalism. Excellent communication, organizational skills, and a customer service mindset are essential. Familiarity with learning management systems or student information systems is a plus. Responsibility

- Maintain accurate documentation in the learning management system and member records.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Education, English, Linguistics, or a related field; teaching certification preferred.
- Experience as an English tutor or teacher, especially with adult learners.
- Excellent spoken and written English with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Solid classroom management and lesson planning abilities; ability to adapt for different levels.
- Familiarity with learning management systems or classroom administration tools.
- Full-time availability in Surakarta, with flexibility for occasional evenings or weekends.
