Join StaffKing Pte Ltd as an English Preschool Teacher in the vibrant Central Region. You will nurture eager young learners aged 3 to 6, guiding them through engaging English-language activities that build literacy, language confidence, and a love of discovery. This is a full-time role with Mon-Fri fixed hours, offering a competitive salary of SGD 3,000 to SGD 3,500 per month, with opportunities for professional development and career advancement. Responsibility
- Plan and deliver engaging English-language lessons and activities for preschool children (ages 3-6), aligned with early childhood education standards.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that supports language development, social-emotional growth, and curious learning.
- Assess children's progress through observation and age-appropriate assessments; maintain accurate portfolios and communicate milestones to families.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to implement the curriculum across literacy, numeracy, arts, music, and physical development.
- Manage daily routines, transitions, circle time, and classroom management to create a positive learning atmosphere.
- Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene guidelines; ensure a clean, organized, and child-friendly learning space.
- Engage with parents and caregivers via regular updates, conferences, and home activities to support continuity of learning.
- Proactively participate in professional development and dedicate time to improve teaching practice and student outcomes.
Qualification
- Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education (or a related field) from an accredited institution.
- Strong command of English with the ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Experience in a preschool or early years setting is preferred; fresh graduates with relevant placements are welcome to apply.
- Knowledge of child development milestones, inclusive education practices, and assessment methods.
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills; patient, creative, and adaptable; passionate about helping children learn.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and the ability to reflect on practice to improve outcomes.
- Ability to work with diverse families and create an engaging, English-focused learning environment as required.
- Singapore working eligibility and readiness to work in Singapore; compliance with local licensing and safety requirements.
