Responsibility
- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with a modern curriculum to students across diverse language levels.
- Create an inclusive, student-centered classroom that encourages participation, collaboration, and critical thinking.
- Assess and monitor student progress using formative and summative methods; provide timely, constructive feedback to students and guardians.
- Differentiate instruction to meet varying learning styles and language abilities; develop reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.
- Integrate technology, multimedia resources, and digital platforms to enhance learning outcomes.
- Collaborate with colleagues to design, update, and refine curriculum materials, rubrics, and assessment tools.
- Participate in parent communications, student development plans, and school events to support holistic growth.
- Manage classroom routines, behavior, and safety in a respectful, supportive manner.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field; teaching certification valid in Singapore or recognized equivalent.
- Minimum 1–2 years of teaching experience, preferably with primary or young learners.
- Excellent command of English with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to plan differentiated instruction and assess student progress effectively.
- Familiarity with classroom technology and digital learning tools; ability to integrate multimedia into lessons.
- Passion for literacy development, student engagement, and inclusive education; patient, energetic, and collaborative.
- Willingness to contribute to school-wide initiatives and events; strong teamwork skills.
- TEFL/TESOL/CELTA or equivalent certification is a plus.
