Job description
VentureForge Labs is seeking an Entrepreneurship Lead to empower founders, validate ideas, and scale ventures in a fast moving market. You will shape the program, mentor startups, and partner with ecosystem leaders to build a thriving entrepreneurial community in Austin.
As a core member of our growth team, you will design scalable processes, define milestones, and unlock resources that help founders turn ideas into sustainable businesses.
Responsibility
- Lead the design and execution of our entrepreneurship program, guiding founders from idea to market-ready venture.
- Mentor portfolio startups through business model design, customer discovery, product-market fit, and traction strategies.
- Identify and secure strategic partnerships, investors, and mentors to accelerate venture growth.
- Develop and manage a data-driven curriculum and milestone framework to track progress and outcomes.
- Collaborate with product, marketing, and operations teams to provide hands-on support and resources.
- Design go-to-market and fundraising playbooks, including investor outreach and pitch deck optimization.
- Manage program operations, timelines, budgets, and stakeholder communications.
- Evangelize entrepreneurship within the local ecosystem by hosting events and speaking engagements.
Qualification
- Bachelor degree in business or entrepreneurship; MBA or related advanced degree preferred
- 5+ years in entrepreneurship, startup operations, or venture building
- Proven track record launching and scaling startups or accelerator programs
- Strong mentoring, coaching, and communication skills including public speaking
- Experience in fundraising, investor relations, and go-to-market strategy
- Proficiency in market research, competitive analysis, and business model design
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Passion for fostering founder mindset and ecosystem development
