Based in Seattle, we are seeking an experienced Environmental Engineer to lead complex projects across water resources, remediation, and environmental compliance.
In this role, you will collaborate across disciplines, mentor junior staff, and work with clients to design and implement practical solutions that protect health and the environment.
Responsibility
- Lead environmental site assessments and risk evaluations for industrial and municipal projects
- Design and implement water resources, wastewater, and stormwater programs
- Perform modeling, data analysis, and technical reporting to support decision-making
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations and permitting
- Manage scope, schedule, and budget; coordinate with clients and multidisciplinary teams
- Prepare proposals, technical memos, and final deliverables; mentor junior staff
- Support remediation strategies and sustainability initiatives across projects
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering or related field; Master’s preferred
- 3+ years of experience in environmental engineering, water resources, or remediation
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 12 months
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS, and hydrologic/hydraulic modeling tools (HEC-RAS, SWMM, or similar)
- Strong data analytics, reporting, and technical writing skills
- Excellent communication and client-facing abilities
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (EPA, state and local regs) and permitting processes
