Responsibility

  • Lead environmental assessments, compliance audits, and permitting strategies for complex projects.
  • Design and optimize systems for water quality, stormwater management, wastewater treatment, and air emission controls.
  • Conduct field sampling, data analysis, and environmental modeling using tools like SWMM, AERMOD, and CALPUFF.
  • Prepare feasibility studies, cost estimates, and technical reports for clients and regulatory agencies.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and regulators to secure permits and ensure compliance.
  • Monitor project scope, timelines, and budgets; manage change orders and risk identifications.
  • Support business development through proposal writing, presentations, and client relationships.

Qualification

  • Bachelor degree in Environmental Engineering or a related field; Master preferred.
  • 3+ years of professional experience in environmental engineering projects, permitting, and compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of EPA and state regulations including NPDES, RCRA, Clean Water Act; experience with permitting processes.
  • Proficiency in CAD/GIS software (AutoCAD, ArcGIS) and environmental modeling tools (SWMM, AERMOD).
  • Excellent analytical, technical writing, and communication skills; capable of leading client interactions.
  • Professional Engineer PE license preferred or ability to obtain within 2 years.
  • Proficient in MS Office and project management software; ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed.
