GreenFrontier Environmental Solutions is seeking a motivated Environmental Engineer to join our Denver, Colorado team. You will contribute to municipal and industrial projects focused on water resources, site assessment, permitting, and sustainable design. Our approach blends rigorous scientific analysis with practical, implementable solutions that protect public health and the environment.
In this role, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior staff, and grow your technical expertise through hands-on project work and continued professional development.
Responsibility
- Conduct environmental site assessments, monitoring, data collection, and interpretation to support project decisions.
- Design and implement stormwater management, wastewater, and water resources solutions.
- Prepare and coordinate regulatory permitting applications (state and federal), and liaise with agencies.
- Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, and quality control plans; manage deliverables.
- Perform GIS analyses, hydraulic modeling, and data analysis to support design and compliance.
- Prepare technical reports, drawings, and presentations for clients and regulatory agencies.
- Collaborate with engineers, planners, and scientists to ensure project success and client satisfaction.
Qualification
- BS in Environmental Engineering or related field; MS preferred.
- 3–6 years of relevant experience in environmental consulting or municipal projects.
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (Clean Water Act, NEPA/CEQA, state and local permits).
- Experience with GIS (ArcGIS), hydraulic/hydrologic modeling, and basic CAD tools.
- Strong technical writing, communication, and client-facing skills.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred or ability to obtain within 12 months.
- Proficiency in data analysis, Excel, and reporting software; self-motivated and detail-oriented.
