EcoSphere Environmental Solutions is seeking a Senior Environmental Engineer to join our growing team in Austin, Texas. This role offers the opportunity to lead critical environmental projects for industrial, commercial, and municipal clients, from conception through execution.
As a senior member of our environmental practice, you will apply your expertise in permitting, site assessments, and regulatory compliance to protect human health and the environment while delivering value to clients.

Responsibility
- Lead environmental permitting and compliance strategies (air, water, waste) for diverse projects and coordinate with regulatory agencies.
- Conduct site assessments, risk analyses, and environmental impact evaluations to inform design decisions.
- Develop and implement monitoring plans, data collection protocols, and reporting in accordance with permits and standards.
- Perform environmental due diligence for acquisitions and site remediation planning, including CEQA/NEPA as applicable.
- Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality outcomes on time.
- Utilize GIS, AutoCAD, and other engineering software to prepare maps, plans, and reports.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and interns, and communicate findings clearly to clients and regulators.
- Support sustainability initiatives, environmental risk assessments, and continuous improvement programs.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering or related field; master’s preferred.
- 5+ years of professional environmental engineering experience; PE license preferred or active pursuit.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state environmental regulations (EPA CFRs, Stormwater, SWPPP, NPDES) and permitting processes.
- Proficiency with GIS (ArcGIS), AutoCAD or Civil 3D, and data analytics tools; proficient in MS Office.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; experience preparing technical reports and presenting to clients/regulators.
- Strong project management and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% as required.
