GreenTech Solutions is seeking a motivated Environmental Engineer to join our Seattle-based team. This role focuses on designing sustainable remediation strategies, advancing clean water and air initiatives, and ensuring regulatory compliance across projects.
In this position you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage client relationships, and deliver high-impact environmental solutions that protect communities and ecosystems.
Responsibility
- Lead environmental site assessments and remediation design from concept to implementation.
- Develop and optimize treatment systems, containment strategies, and monitoring plans.
- Analyze field and laboratory data, perform modeling, and prepare technical reports.
- Ensure adherence to environmental regulations (EPA, OSHA, state agencies) and permitting requirements.
- Prepare proposals, bid documents, and support business development activities.
- Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and cross-functional teams.
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or related field; PE license preferred or in progress.
- 5+ years of professional experience in environmental engineering, site characterization, and remediation.
- Strong knowledge of groundwater, soil, and contaminant transport; familiarity with regulatory frameworks and permitting.
- Experience with remediation technologies (pump-and-treat, in-situ chemical oxidation, bioremediation, soil vapor extraction).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, GIS, Excel, and report writing; strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, work independently, and travel as needed (10-20%).
