Join BlueDelta Environmental Solutions as an Environmental Engineer focusing on water resources, stormwater management, and sustainable design. Responsibility
- Lead and support site assessments, feasibility studies, and permitting for water, wastewater, and stormwater projects.
- Develop and review hydraulic and hydrologic models using tools such as SWMM, HEC-RAS, and related software.
- Prepare design calculations, drawings, and technical specifications for treatment processes and environmental controls.
- Coordinate with clients, regulators, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery and regulatory compliance (NEPA/CEQA where applicable).
- Assist with bidding, cost estimation, and project management including scheduling and risk tracking.
- Conduct field investigations, data collection, and quality assurance/quality control on deliverables.
- Support sustainability initiatives, life cycle assessment, and performance monitoring programs.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or related field; Master's preferred.
- 3-6 years of relevant experience in water resources, civil/environmental projects, or consulting.
- Proficiency with modeling tools (hydraulic/hydrologic), GIS (ArcGIS/QGIS), and design software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D).
- Strong understanding of environmental regulations, permitting processes, and compliance.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and client-facing skills; ability to manage multiple projects.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or in process; willingness to pursue if not licensed.
- Strong data analysis, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for field work and site visits (up to 15%).
