Responsibility

  • Lead design and implementation of environmental remediation and pollution prevention projects from scoping to commissioning.
  • Develop and manage environmental compliance programs including permitting, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Conduct site assessments, risk analyses, and feasibility studies to support client decisions.
  • Prepare technical proposals, cost estimates, and project schedules for internal and client review.
  • Coordinate field investigations, data collection, and quality control activities with field teams.
  • Apply GIS, CAD, and hydraulic modeling tools to support design and analysis.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and quality standards; liaison with regulators as needed.
  • Mentor junior staff and foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Qualification

  • Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering or related field; Master is a plus.
  • 3+ years of experience in environmental engineering, site assessments, remediation, or permitting.
  • Professional Engineer PE license or progress toward licensure.
  • Strong knowledge of EPA regulations, RCRA, CERCLA, Clean Water Act, and state equivalents.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, GIS, hydraulic modeling, and data analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication, technical writing, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, budgets, and timelines; travel up to 25% as needed.
  • Collaborative, solution oriented mindset with strong problem solving abilities.
