Join NebulaForge Esports, a leading organization in the competitive gaming scene, as a Talent Acquisition Specialist based in Los Angeles. You will build and own a robust talent pipeline spanning players, coaches, analysts, content creators, and operations staff. This role blends modern recruiting strategies with a deep passion for esports and a commitment to diversity and inclusion.
In this role, you will partner with org leadership, game directors, and marketing to attract top-tier talent that elevates our teams and brand. You will optimize the candidate experience, implement data-driven sourcing, and drive end-to-end recruitment from outreach to offer acceptance.
Responsibility
- Develop and execute full-cycle recruitment strategies to fill roles across players, coaches, analysts, and org operations.
- Source, screen, interview, and close top esports talent using proactive headhunting and events.
- Partner with game directors, coaching staff, and HR to forecast talent needs and build a diverse pipeline.
- Own employer branding initiatives and represent the organization at tournaments, academies, and industry events.
- Collaborate with marketing to craft compelling role postings and candidate communications.
- Implement and optimize an applicant tracking system to track metrics, improve time-to-hire, and reduce cost-per-hire.
- Negotiate offers, onboard new hires, and ensure a seamless candidate experience from first contact to ramp.
- Analyze recruitment data and present insights to leadership to inform people strategy.
Qualification
- 3+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience, preferably in esports, gaming, tech, or sports industries.
- Proven success in sourcing passive candidates, in-depth knowledge of LinkedIn Recruiter, and experience with modern ATS/CRM systems.
- Passion for esports, a strong network within the gaming community, and an understanding of competitive environments.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable presenting to executives and working with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple requisitions concurrently and prioritize effectively.
- Data-driven mindset with proficiency in recruitment analytics and reporting.
- Ability to travel for tournaments and industry events as needed (up to 15%).
