As an Estimator, you will blend construction know-how with rigorous financial analysis to produce accurate budgets, take-offs, and tender submissions. You will interpret drawings, specifications, and bill of quantities, identify cost drivers, risks, and opportunities, and present options that improve value while maintaining client requirements and internal standards. You’ll work closely with project managers, procurement teams, subcontractors, and senior estimators to ensure proposals are complete, compliant, and competitive.

Responsibility
- Prepare and review quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and tender documentation for projects across commercial, residential, and industrial sectors.
- Collaborate with estimators, project managers, and procurement teams to develop accurate budgets and bid strategies.
- Analyze drawings, specifications, BOQ, and site conditions to identify risks and opportunities.
- Prepare detailed cost breakdowns, unit rates, and subcontractor quotes; compile tender proposals with clear schedules and assumptions.
- Manage tender calendars, ensure deadlines are met, and maintain documentation for audit and client review.
- Use estimation software and tools (e.g., Excel, cost databases) to produce consistent results; continuously improve estimating processes.
- Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotes and ensure scope compliance.
- Assist in post-bid negotiations and value engineering exercises.
Qualification
- Degree in Construction Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an estimator in construction or tendering, with exposure to relevant markets.
- Strong knowledge of cost planning, quantity take-offs, BOQ, and tender procedures.
- Proficiency in estimation software and advanced Excel skills; experience with BIM-based quantity extraction is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, numeric, and attention-to-detail abilities; proven capacity to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with local building codes and procurement regulations in the Philippines; knowledge of risk assessment and value engineering is preferred.
