Integrated OS is actively seeking a detail-oriented Estimator/CAD Drafter to join our fencing solutions team in Muntinlupa City, Metro Manila. In this role, you will prepare accurate cost estimates and produce precise CAD drawings that guide fabrication, procurement, and installation. You will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field teams to ensure every project is delivered on time and within budget.
Responsibilities include conducting quantity takeoffs, developing material lists, evaluating supplier quotes, and preparing tender proposals. You will create shop drawings and assembly layouts using AutoCAD, ensuring all drawings reflect project specifications and safety standards. You will maintain meticulous documentation, manage revisions, and communicate changes clearly to stakeholders.
To succeed, you should have a background in civil engineering, architecture, or a related field, with hands-on CAD experience and a working knowledge of construction costs for fencing projects. Strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential for this role and for contributing to our growing construction solutions team.
Responsibility
- Prepare accurate material takeoffs and cost estimates for fencing projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and contingencies.
- Produce detailed CAD drawings and shop drawings for fencing systems, assemblies, and installation details using AutoCAD (and other approved software).
- Review project specifications, drawings, and contract documents to ensure estimates and drawings meet scope and standards.
- Coordinate with sales, engineering, procurement, and field teams to gather inputs, obtain pricing, and resolve design or scope changes.
- Generate Bills of Materials (BOM), quantities, and procurement-ready packages to support bidding and fabrication.
- Manage revisions and version control, ensuring all stakeholders are informed of changes and impact.
- Assist in tender preparation and technical submittals by providing clear estimates and drawings.
- Visit or survey sites as needed to verify dimensions and site constraints.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in estimation and CAD drafting, preferably in fencing or construction projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with other CAD tools and 3D modeling is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of materials pricing, labor rates, and construction sequencing for fencing projects.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications; high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency with Excel or other project management tools.
- Familiarity with industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
