We are actively seeking a proactive and results driven Event Sales Executive to join our dynamic sales team in Johor Bahru. In this role you will be the frontline ambassador for our event packages, working directly with corporate clients, exhibitors, and sponsors to understand needs, present compelling proposals, and close deals. You will collaborate with operations and marketing to ensure flawless execution from concept to post event follow up, while consistently hitting or exceeding monthly targets. As an Event Sales Executive you will build a robust sales funnel, generate and qualify new leads, manage client expectations with a professional consultative approach, and maintain accurate CRM records. You will prepare timely proposals and presentations, coordinate with cross functional teams to deliver engaging and successful events, and participate in local networking opportunities to expand KH Event Managements footprint in Johor and beyond. Responsibility
- Identify, prospect, and qualify new event clients and sponsorship opportunities within the Johor region.
- Present tailored event packages, negotiate terms, and close sales to meet or exceed monthly targets.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships from initial contact through post event follow-up and renewals.
- Collaborate with operations, marketing, and design teams to ensure seamless execution and high client satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, track sales metrics, and provide regular reporting on pipeline and performance.
- Prepare compelling proposals, presentations, and case studies; upsell additional packages and services where appropriate.
- Represent KH Event Management at client meetings, industry events, and networking sessions to generate new business opportunities.
Qualification
- 1-3 years of sales experience, preferably in events, hospitality, or B2B environments; proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills in English; Mandarin or Malay language skills are a plus.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment.
- Proficient with CRM software and Microsoft Office; ability to analyze data and translate into action.
- Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Willingness to travel within Johor Bahru and surrounding areas as required.
- Bachelors degree preferred but not required; relevant certifications in sales or event management are advantageous.
