Responsibility
- Lead daily walking and bus tours around Rome’s historic sites, museums, and neighborhoods.
- Deliver captivating storytelling and detailed insights about Roman art, history, and landmarks.
- Ensure guest safety, comfort, and satisfaction throughout the tour experience.
- Respond promptly to guest questions and adapt to varying group dynamics.
- Handle ticketing, logistics, and scheduling in coordination with the office team.
- Build rapport with guests and foster a respectful, positive group environment.
- Regularly update personal knowledge about local events and attractions.
- Collect guest feedback and support continuous improvement efforts.
Qualification
- Proven experience in tour guiding or hospitality, preferably in Rome.
- Fluent in English and Italian (additional languages a strong plus).
- Outstanding communication and storytelling skills.
- In-depth knowledge of Roman history, culture, and tourist attractions.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Customer-focused with a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Licensed Rome Tour Guide certification or willingness to obtain.
