Responsibility
- Lead engaging, commentary-rich walking tours of London’s landmarks and hidden gems to diverse groups.
- Design and adapt itineraries to match client interests, time constraints, and accessibility needs.
- Provide accurate historical context, anecdotes, and practical information (hours, meeting points, logistics).
- Ensure guest safety, manage crowd control, and respond effectively to emergencies.
- Coordinate with local venues and operators, handle group check-in and reservations.
- Deliver exceptional guest service, upsell experiences, and collect feedback for quality improvement.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of site closures, public transport, and city regulations.
Qualification
- Minimum 2-3 years of professional tour guiding or related hospitality experience.
- Excellent spoken English; additional languages (Spanish, French, Italian, Mandarin) highly preferred.
- Strong storytelling, public speaking, and improvisational skills.
- Valid tour guiding license or permit for London is a plus (if required).
- Knowledge of London's geography, history, culture, and local etiquette.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and late shifts; flexible schedule.
- First aid certification and safety awareness; ability to manage group risk.
