This role offers an opportunity to innovate smart manufacturing solutions, drive quality improvements, and boost efficiency across one of the world''s leading semiconductor fabs. You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to optimize production processes, elevate product yield, and accelerate digital transformation that powers next-generation devices.

As a F10 QEM PCS Engineer, you will own the Quality and Equipment Manufacturing (QEM) PCS processes in the Fab 10 line. You will leverage data analytics, statistical process control, and automation tools to monitor performance, identify root causes, and implement sustainable improvements. The role demands hands-on problem solving, strong communication, and a bias for action in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment.

Responsibilities include analyzing production data, supporting equipment qualification, implementing process changes, and validating improvements with robust metrics. You will document procedures, develop proactive countermeasures, and present findings to cross-functional teams. You will also contribute to safety and quality programs, participate in audits, and drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance throughput and equipment reliability.

Micron offers an inclusive, performance-driven culture with opportunities for growth, training, and exposure to cutting-edge manufacturing technologies. If you are passionate about precision engineering, data-driven decision making, and collaborating across teams to deliver reliable, world-class products, this is your role.

  • Collaborate with equipment, process, and software teams to design, test, and implement data-driven process improvements using SPC and analytics.
  • Monitor process stability and equipment health; lead rapid containment, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions for deviations.
  • Drive automation and digitalization initiatives, including MES/SCADA data capture, dashboards, and anomaly detection to facilitate real-time decision making.
  • Develop clear work instructions, troubleshooting guides, and training materials; mentor operators and engineers in best practices.
  • Represent QEM PCS in cross-functional meetings, presenting findings, performance metrics, and improvement plans to stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards; participate in audits and CAPA programs to uphold manufacturing excellence.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic/Industrial/Mechanical Engineering or related field; Master’s preferred.
  • 2-5 years of hands-on experience in semiconductor manufacturing, process engineering, or automation roles.
  • Strong data analytics skills with proficiency in Python, SQL, Excel; experience with SPC and DOE is a plus.
  • Experience with automation equipment, PLCs, MES/SCADA systems, and data visualization tools.
  • Solid problem-solving abilities, with structured root-cause analysis and effective CAPA implementation.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to work across functions and shifts in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of cleanroom operations, safety, and quality systems; Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus.
