This Facilities and Safety Security Senior Associate role combines facility management, safety program development, and security operations to ensure a secure, compliant, and productive work environment for EY employees and contractors.
As a member of EY's Real Estate & Property organization, you will lead security and safety programs for multiple EY facilities in Cebu City. You will coordinate with local authorities, manage security vendors, and drive continuous improvement in risk management, incident response, and business continuity planning. You will partner with facilities, EH&S, and technology teams to implement resilient controls that safeguard people and data while supporting smooth business operations.

The successful candidate will demonstrate proactive leadership, strong communication, and a hands-on approach to problem solving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
You will also be responsible for developing and implementing physical security programs, access control, CCTV monitoring, visitor management, and emergency response protocols. You will conduct risk assessments, perform regular safety audits, and ensure compliance with Philippine safety regulations and EY standards. Your role includes training staff and contractors on security best practices, incident reporting, and continuity planning.
Responsibility
- Oversee daily facilities operations and security services across EY sites in Cebu to ensure a safe, compliant workplace.
- Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, access control, CCTV monitoring, and incident response protocols.
- Conduct risk assessments, threat monitoring, and safety audits; report findings and track remediation actions.
- Coordinate with facilities management, EH&S, IT, and local authorities; manage security vendors and service level agreements.
- Lead emergency preparedness, incident management, and business continuity planning; conduct drills and trainings.
- Ensure compliance with Philippine safety regulations, fire/life-safety codes, data protection, and EY standards.
- Provide safety awareness training and onboarding for staff and contractors; promote a proactive safety culture.
- Prepare management reports on security posture, incidents, and key risk indicators; present to regional leadership.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Security, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of facilities management or corporate security experience; experience in multinational environments preferred.
- Professional certifications such as Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or Certified Facility Manager (CFM) are a plus.
- Strong knowledge of local safety regulations, fire safety, and compliance standards; familiarity with ISO 45001 is a plus.
- Experience with vendor management, contract negotiations, and service level agreements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills; ability to influence across functions.
- Proficiency with security systems (CCTV, access control, alarm systems) and incident reporting tools; strong MS Office and data analysis.
- Fluent in English; Filipino language skills are an advantage.
