As Field Supervisor, you will oversee daily field activities, coordinate trades, ensure alignment with drawings and specifications, and maintain robust site documentation. Responsibilities include supervising site operations, commanding safety practices (K3), checking workmanship, inspecting materials, managing deliveries, keeping daily logs, and reporting progress. Responsibility
- Lead and supervise daily on-site activities, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant field operations.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to manage trades, deliveries, and scheduling.
- Monitor progress against project plans, report variances, and assist in mitigation planning.
- Inspect workmanship and materials, verify quantities, ensure proper storage and handling.
- Enforce safety regulations (K3) and environmental guidelines; conduct toolbox talks.
- Maintain accurate site documentation: daily logs, photos, checklists, safety reports.
- Support site management with issue resolution, change order documentation, and cost-control actions.
- Mentor junior crew members and contribute to on-site training.
Qualification
- Proven experience in on-site construction operations, preferably in residential or commercial projects.
- Strong understanding of drawings, specifications, and Bill of Quantities; ability to read and interpret.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices; relevant training certifications (K3) preferred.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork abilities; capable of managing diverse crews.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, project-based environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation (MS Office, simple project software).
- Physical stamina; ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Problem-solving mindset with a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
