BlueRail Logistics is seeking a highly skilled Fleet Operations Manager to lead our expanding transportation operations. This role is ideal for a data-driven leader who can optimize routes, oversee maintenance scheduling, and ensure regulatory compliance across multi-modal fleets.

Responsibility
- Lead and optimize daily fleet operations across road, rail, and last-mile segments to meet service level targets.
- Develop and implement data-driven routing and scheduling strategies using telematics and GIS tools.
- Oversee preventive maintenance, inspections, and depot operations; manage vendor relationships and warranties.
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, safety standards, and environmental requirements; coach drivers on best practices.
- Manage fleet budgeting, cost controls, and lifecycle planning; monitor KPIs and generate actionable reports for leadership.
- Collaborate with procurement, IT, and operations to deploy fleet management software and drive process improvements.
- Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing fleet operations team; foster a safety-first culture.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, transportation, or related field.
- 5+ years in fleet operations, transportation planning, or logistics management.
- Proven experience with route optimization, telematics, GPS tracking, and fleet management software.
- Strong data analysis skills (Excel, SQL, or similar) and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations, safety compliance, OSHA standards, and environmental guidelines.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Proven ability to manage budgets and vendor relationships; problem-solving mindset.
