DPO International Sdn Bhd is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Food Ingredient B2B Sales Executive with expertise in nutraceutical and savoury ingredients to join our expanding team in Kuala Lumpur. This role is pivotal in developing and nurturing strong business relationships with key clients, understanding their unique ingredient needs, and delivering customized solutions that drive growth and innovation in the food and health sectors.
The successful candidate will work closely with food manufacturers, health supplement producers, and other B2B customers to provide ingredient expertise and market insights. Responsibility
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the nutraceutical and savoury ingredient markets across Malaysia and the region.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships by understanding client needs and offering tailored ingredient solutions.
- Collaborate with technical teams to provide product knowledge, ingredient specifications, and regulatory support to clients.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations, proposals, and contract negotiations to achieve sales targets.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities and challenges.
- Manage sales pipeline and forecast sales performance using CRM tools effectively.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking sessions to represent DPO International and expand professional networks.
- Provide after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of B2B sales experience in the food ingredient, nutraceutical, or savoury sectors.
- Strong understanding of food ingredient applications and regulatory requirements in the Malaysian market.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets with excellent negotiation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders effectively.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work both independently and within a team.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is preferred.
