  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including field crews, contractors, and compliance officers; manage schedules and budgets.
  • Monitor project performance using KPIs, GIS data, and field audits; prepare reports for clients and leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations; implement best practices for sustainable forestry.
  • Engage with Indigenous communities, local agencies, and clients to align objectives and secure permits.
  • Manage risk assessment, mitigations, and change management; maintain documentation and audit readiness.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Forestry, Natural Resources, or related field; or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of forestry project management, operations, or silviculture experience.
  • Strong knowledge of silviculture practices, harvest planning, timber estimation, and forest inventory data.
  • Proficiency with GIS (ArcGIS/QGIS), remote sensing, and data analytics; experience with forest inventory software.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills; ability to collaborate with Indigenous communities and agencies.
  • Knowledge of relevant environmental regulations, permits, and safety standards; proven risk management ability.
