Responsibility

  • Lead and manage forestry projects from initiation to completion, ensuring safety, quality, and timely delivery.
  • Develop and implement sustainable forest management plans aligned with certification standards and ecological objectives.
  • Coordinate timber harvesting operations with contractors and agencies while minimizing environmental impact.
  • Monitor project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation; track progress with stakeholders.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Forestry, Environmental Science, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • 5+ years of forest management or project management experience in forestry or conservation settings.
  • Strong knowledge of GIS, remote sensing, and forestry software (ArcGIS, Trimble, QGIS, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of environmental laws and permitting processes; experience with NEPA, ESA, or state-level equivalents.
