Responsibility
- Lead and manage waste management programs including collection, processing, and disposal strategies compliant with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Develop and implement waste reduction, reuse, and recycling initiatives to minimize environmental impact and costs.
- Oversee data collection, analysis, and reporting of waste streams, KPIs, and program performance.
- Coordinate with municipalities, haulers, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery and performance.
- Manage budgets, procurement, and project timelines; optimize vendor contracts and invoicing.
- Ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance across all operations and activities.
- Drive continuous improvement using data-driven insights and lifecycle assessment methodologies.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in environmental science, engineering, or a related field; master's degree preferred.
- 5+ years in waste management, environmental services, or sustainability programs.
- Strong knowledge of RCRA, EPA regulations, hazardous waste handling, and permitting processes.
- Experience with data analytics, reporting tools, and performance dashboards.
- Project management experience with demonstrated ability to manage multiple programs and stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills; customer-focused mindset.
- Ability to travel up to 20% as required.
