NovaFranchise Group is seeking a results-driven Franchise Development Manager based in New York, NY to lead our national growth initiatives. You will partner with executive leadership to identify, recruit, and enable high-potential franchise partners, while scaling our brand’s footprint across territories. The role blends strategic planning, relationship management, and close collaboration with legal, operations, and marketing teams to deliver predictable, profitable expansion.
As a key driver of our franchising strategy, you will own the end-to-end development lifecycle—from market analysis and lead generation to deal negotiation and onboarding. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment, uphold compliance standards, and embody our standards for exceptional partner support and brand stewardship.
Responsibility
- Develop and execute franchise sales strategies to achieve multi-unit expansion targets and revenue goals.
- Identify, qualify, and recruit prospective franchisees; manage the end-to-end sales cycle from inquiry to signing.
- Lead market analysis, territory planning, and competitive benchmarking to prioritize opportunities.
- Collaborate with legal, operations, marketing, and training teams to customize franchise agreements and launch packages.
- Build and maintain ongoing relationships with franchisees, brokers, and development partners to ensure strong partnerships.
- Manage the sales pipeline in CRM, forecast revenue, and provide regular status updates to leadership.
- Oversee onboarding, training, and ongoing support programs for new franchisees to ensure successful launches.
Qualification
- 5+ years in franchise development, franchise sales, or business development with a proven track record of multi-unit closures.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Experience with Franchise Disclosure Documents (FDD) and regulatory compliance in franchising.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to conduct market sizing, financial projections, and business planning.
- Proficiency in CRM (e.g., Salesforce) and advanced Excel skills for pipeline management.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with a customer-centric, solution-focused approach.
