FranchiseNova Partners is seeking a results-driven Franchise Development Manager to lead expansion initiatives for a growing portfolio of brands. You will identify prospective franchise partners, assess market opportunities, and collaborate with operations, marketing, and legal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and profitable performance.
Location: Los Angeles, CA. This is a full-time role with travel as needed.
Responsibility
- Identify, evaluate, and recruit qualified franchise candidates aligned with brand standards and financial requirements.
- Conduct market analysis and territory planning to prioritize high-potential markets.
- Coordinate discovery days, due diligence, and franchise approvals with cross-functional teams.
- Lead onboarding, training, and initial operations support for new franchise partners.
- Negotiate franchise agreements, fees, and performance targets while safeguarding brand integrity.
- Monitor performance, provide ongoing partner support, and drive multi-unit growth where appropriate.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 5+ years in franchising, business development, or sales with a track record of franchise recruitment.
- Strong understanding of franchise disclosure documents, legal considerations, and compliance.
- Proven ability to build relationships with multi-unit and single-unit franchise partners.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Experience with CRM and sales tracking tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar).
