Join a premium franchising consultancy dedicated to helping brands scale through smart strategy, strong operations, and exceptional franchise partnerships. We’re seeking a results-oriented Franchise Development Manager to drive multi-unit growth in the Austin metro area and beyond.
As a pivotal member of our growth team, you will identify promising franchise concepts, qualify candidates, and guide them through the entire development lifecycle, from initial inquiry to signed agreement. This role blends business development, strategic negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver measurable revenue and footprint expansion.
Responsibility
- Identify, source, and recruit qualified franchise candidates in the Austin metro and key surrounding markets.
- Develop and execute a strategic plan to achieve multi-unit growth targets and revenue goals.
- Lead the franchise sales process from initial inquiry to executed franchise agreements, including financial and operational assessments.
- Collaborate with marketing to design targeted campaigns and lead generation programs for potential franchisees.
- Coordinate with legal, finance, and operations teams to structure deals that balance franchisor value and franchisee success.
- Provide onboarding and ongoing support to new franchisees to ensure rapid ramp-up and brand consistency.
- Monitor market trends, competition, and economic indicators to adjust strategy and identify growth opportunities.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, prepare robust pipelines, and report progress to leadership on a regular basis.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- 5+ years of franchise sales, business development, or multi-unit operations experience.
- Proven track record of achieving growth targets and closing franchise deals.
- Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and presentation skills.
- Experience with franchise disclosure documents (FDDs) and compliance processes.
- Excellent communication and project management abilities; adept at cross-functional collaboration.
- Willingness to travel 20-30% for discovery days and site visits.
