Job description

Join Aurora Franchise Group, a premier franchising partner helping brands scale with disciplined growth strategies. We're seeking a results-driven Franchise Development Manager to lead expansion across the New York market.

In this role, you'll own the franchise sales cycle from lead qualification to agreement, partner onboarding, and ongoing support. You'll collaborate with Marketing, Legal, and Operations to ensure a seamless, compliant, and profitable growth trajectory for our franchise network.

What you'll do is influence strategic decisions, build and manage a high-performing pipeline, and craft local market strategies to recruit best-in-class franchise partners.

We offer a competitive compensation plan, comprehensive benefits, and a culture focused on integrity, performance, and career growth.

Responsibility

  • Source, evaluate, and close franchise opportunities across the New York market, achieving quarterly sales targets.
  • Develop and manage a robust franchise development pipeline using CRM, forecasting, and data analysis.
  • Create compelling value propositions and franchise programs; lead negotiations and contract execution with potential partners.
  • Partner with Marketing to generate inbound leads and develop local marketing campaigns to attract qualified prospects.
  • Deliver comprehensive onboarding, training, and ongoing support to new franchisees to ensure strong performance from launch.
  • Collaborate with operations, legal, and finance to ensure compliance and profitability of each franchise agreement.
  • Provide ongoing field support and performance coaching to franchisees while identifying opportunities for multi-unit expansion.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field; MBA a plus.
  • 7+ years of experience in franchise development, franchise sales, or multi-unit retail; demonstrated track record in closing high-value deals.
  • Strong understanding of franchising laws, disclosure requirements, and contract negotiations.
  • Exceptional relationship-building, networking, and storytelling skills to recruit partners.
  • Proven ability to analyze markets, create territory plans, and track KPIs using a CRM (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Strategic thinker with project management capabilities and strong cross-functional collaboration.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; comfortable presenting to executives and potential franchisees.
