Job description
We are seeking a proactive Franchise Development Manager to join our premium brand and accelerate franchise growth in the New York market. You will source, evaluate, and secure high-potential franchise partners, while supporting existing franchisees to maximize performance.
In this role you will partner with cross functional teams to execute expansion strategies, develop market plans, and ensure brand standards across the network.
What you will do is drive strategic initiatives, oversee franchise recruitment, and contribute to ongoing training and operations excellence across the network.
Responsibility
- Identify and qualify franchise opportunities in the New York metro region and build a robust pipeline.
- Lead end-to-end franchise sales cycles from initial outreach to signing agreements and onboarding.
- Develop and implement market entry strategies and multi-unit expansion plans.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, and Training to onboard and support franchisees for consistent brand delivery.
- Monitor franchise performance using dashboards, enforce brand standards, and drive continuous improvement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and current franchise partners.
- Lead training programs for new and existing franchisees and their staff to ensure operational excellence.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 5+ years in franchise development, franchising, or multi-unit retail.
- Proven track record of closing franchise deals and expanding networks.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Experience with CRM platforms and data-driven decision making.
- Ability to travel 40-60% of the time and manage a dynamic pipeline.
- Knowledge of franchise disclosure requirements and regulatory compliance for franchise networks.
