Join a premier New York City photography studio as a full-time photographer. We help brands illuminate stories through stunning imagery, meticulous lighting, and expert post-production. As a key member of our creative team, you will work on high-profile commercial shoots, fashion/editorial projects, and lifestyle campaigns, delivering compelling images on tight deadlines.
What you will do includes partnering with directors and stylists, planning lighting and camera setups, directing on set, and ensuring deliverables meet brand guidelines and timelines.
Responsibility
- Lead planning and execution of commercial shoots from concept to final delivery.
- Collaborate with art directors, stylists, and clients to realize creative visions.
- Set up and operate camera systems, lighting, and grip to achieve precise looks.
- Direct models and talent on set to capture authentic moments.
- Manage post-production workflow including color grading and retouching to brand standards.
- Archive assets, maintain studio inventory, and ensure equipment readiness.
- Deliver high-resolution deliverables on schedule with consistent quality.
- Assist in studio operations and client relations to grow repeat business.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in photography or equivalent professional experience
- 5+ years of professional photography experience, with a strong commercial/advertising portfolio
- Expert knowledge of camera systems, lenses, lighting (strobes, continuous, modifiers)
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, Bridge) and color workflow
- Strong on-set direction and collaboration with creative teams
- Portfolio demonstrating fashion, lifestyle, or product photography across diverse subjects
- Excellent time management, organization, and client communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced NYC studio environment and adapt to evolving briefs
