Boston Theological Institute invites applications for a Full-Time Theology Faculty member to join our scholarly community. The successful candidate will teach foundational and advanced theology courses, mentor students, contribute to curriculum development, and engage in creative research that intersects faith, ethics, and society.

Responsibility
- Deliver undergraduate and graduate theology courses with clarity and rigor.
- Develop and revise curricula to align with program outcomes and accreditation standards.
- Supervise theses, capstones, internships, and directed research projects.
- Conduct original research, publish in peer reviewed outlets, and present at conferences.
- Mentor students in spiritual formation, career planning, and ministry preparation.
- Collaborate with colleagues on program assessment, accreditation, and grant opportunities.
- Engage in service learning and community and interfaith initiatives.
Qualification
- PhD or equivalent terminal degree in Theology or related field from an accredited institution.
- 3+ years of college level teaching and curriculum development experience.
- Strong record of scholarly publications and active research agenda.
- Proven ability to teach diverse student populations in person and online.
- Excellent communication, mentoring, and collaborative teamwork skills.
- Commitment to inclusive pedagogies and interfaith dialogue.
- Experience with program assessment, accreditation processes, and grant writing is a plus.
