Avensys Consulting is seeking a meticulous Fund Onboarding Analyst to join our Banking & Financial Services team in Manila. In this role, you will manage the end-to-end setup of new funds, ensuring accurate onboarding, reconciliations, financial reporting, and strict adherence to compliance controls. As a Fund Onboarding Analyst, you will collaborate with fund managers, administrators, and internal teams to gather, validate, and maintain data across our systems. You will support monthly close cycles, ensure data integrity, and contribute to risk management through accurate processing and timely reporting. A strong emphasis on regulatory compliance and robust controls will be central to your day-to-day activities. Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end onboarding of new funds, including data collection, verification, and setup across systems while ensuring KYC/compliance checks are completed.
- Conduct daily and monthly reconciliations of cash, investments, and positions; investigate and resolve exceptions promptly.
- Prepare and review fund financial statements, disclosures, and management reports in line with internal standards and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain data integrity across core systems (accounting, position data, and incident logs) and implement robust data controls.
- Coordinate with fund managers, administrators, and internal teams to resolve onboarding and operational queries.
- Support regulatory reporting, audits, and adherence to internal controls and risk management policies.
- Identify and implement process improvements to reduce cycle times, error rates, and manual effort.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in fund onboarding, fund accounting, or back-office operations within financial services.
- Strong understanding of fund accounting principles, reconciliations, and financial reporting processes.
- Proficiency in Excel (advanced functions, pivots, lookups) and experience with fund accounting systems or ERP platforms.
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities; comfortable working night shifts and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements, controls environment, and data governance practices.
