Location: Geylang Bahru, Central Region
Salary: $2,200 – $3,000 per month
Responsibility
- Assist in the preparation, setup, and dismantling of funeral venues according to clients' requirements.
- Coordinate and transport funeral equipment, supplies, and floral arrangements to and from service locations.
- Support the funeral director and team during wakes, ceremonies, and processions, ensuring a smooth and respectful operation.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper arrangement of funeral facilities and vehicles.
- Guide and assist families and guests courteously during funerals and memorial services.
- Handle sensitive situations with empathy, discretion, and professionalism at all times.
- Perform general administrative and logistical tasks related to funeral operations.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and regulatory standards in the execution of duties.
Qualification
- Minimum secondary school education or equivalent; higher qualifications are an advantage.
- Previous experience in funeral services or operations support roles preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Compassionate, responsible, and capable of handling sensitive situations with maturity.
- Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks, including lifting.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays as required.
- Possession of a Class 3 driving license is an added advantage.
